death & scrapping
Lately I have been having a really hard time with my Dad’s death..not sure why. Maybe subconsciously I am aware that last month marked 6 months that he has been gone…maybe it is because Jacey is playing t-ball now and being the baseball guru he was, he would have LOVED to see her play. I dunno. So, I thought maybe scrapping about him would help me work through these feeling so I did the recent sketch challenge at tdc.
Here is the sketch (by Laura Alpuche) and my take on it.
Journaling reads: “I wish you could have known just what a wonderful guy your Pops was. We lost him all too soon but we will carry with us his memory always. He loves you with every ounce of his being and looks down on you from Heaven everyday until he can hug you once more.”

Lacey that is a beautiful layout! The journaling makes me need a kleenex. I am really sorry for your loss and wish there was some way to make it better!
