MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #55

Feel free to come join in over here!

1. The first thing I think of when I get up in the morning is man, I wish this new alarm had a snooze button!

2. Lately, I’ve been craving real home cooked meals because life is so nuts I haven’t made it to the grocery store in weeks and we keep eating out.

3. Whenever anyone says the word farm, it reminds me of my childhood because I used to spend weeks with my Grandparents during the summer on their “farm”.

4. The happiest word I know is  hope, but it is easy to lose.

5. My spouse may hate it, but I absolutely love Food Network and HGTV.

  1. Aw, your spouse hates HGTV?? Mine doesn’t like much of it, but I got him hooked on Holmes Inspection. In fact, he’s considering a career as a home inspector post-Navy!

  2. Totally know what you mean when you get tired of eating out because initially it’s the greatest thing in the world! No cooking, no dishes, no planning… I’m there now because while we’re trying to save money and not eat out as much, nothing will appeal to me if the pantry is seemingly empty of full of staples that I don’t feel like having, i.e. Cup-O-Noodles! I’m afraid of checking out the produce because I know all the delicious berries and mangos and other summer fruits will soon be gone. Have a great weekend!

  3. @NHGirl & Kelli M – He will sit and appease me by watching it, but he really doesn’t like it. He is more of a SyFy or Science Channel kind of guy :). Thanks for stopping by!

  4. @Navywifechronicles – Have you ever checked out Bountiful Baskets? Not sure if they are in your area, but they are a fabulous, affordable way to get fresh produce. Thanks for visiting!
