Do you ever have one of those weeks when you think it will never end and just wish you could go to sleep and sleep through it?

That was my week.

I had to see my little girl’s feelings get hurt SEVERAL times.

It rained ALL week.

I had two EARLY morning appointments.

Part of Bryan’s family was here and let’s just suffice to say that it was NOT a good visit.

We are redoing the pool for a FOURTH time.

And I got NO naps!

The weekend did get better at least. Saturday, Jacey had her soccer game and Bryan and I were the fill in coach/asst coach since hers could not be there this week. Then we had a nap, a nice long rain and rumbling thunder filled nap. For dinner, Bryan opted to get his Father’s Day pick then, since he wanted Joey Tomato’s and they aren’t open on Sunday. Cannoli’s…yum! After Jacey was in bed, we watched The Bucket List. I don’t know if it is just because of my situation or what, but I think this is the best movie I have seen in a LONG while. It is funny, sad and so true. Life is absolutely what you make of it.

Today, we went to church (I work the welcome desk on 3rd Sunday’s) and then went to Old Mexico for lunch. Now, a nap, a few games of Sorry and Chinese food later, Bryan and I are going to eat some ice cream and watch August Rush. Tomorrow is back to work for Bryan and I and Jacey has VBS all week which she is thrilled about. She gets to make goo…LOL!
