the munchkin

Jacey is so funny sometimes…

We didn’t really tell her about the whole time change thing. I figured, why add one more complication (or more like it, one more “why Mommy” question) to my life. Put her to bed a few minutes early Saturday night and didn’t think anything else of it.

Till, this morning….

We walk outside and Jacey looks up at the moon, back at me, up at the moon and back at me with this look of utter confusion.  She starts to walk to the end of the sidewalk, all the way muttering to herself, “this is wierd”. Finally she looks up at me and says, “Mommy, I must have been super fast this morning…I’ve never gone to the bus at night.”

Poor kid…maybe you just had to be there =-)
