May 2017 | Fitness Goals

Yes, I’m late. Again.

What’s new?!

I finally got a chance to sit down and make my May goals. I’ve had them in my head, but just haven’t had time to open up Photoshop and make them all pretty. And if I think life is crazy now, classes start back up on the 15th.

I am going to drown.

Anyway.

Let’s recap April.

1. Attend yoga at least twice – check. Even better, I went three times, every Tuesday I was actually in town.

2. Run 50 miles. Yeah, that didn’t happen. Just wasn’t feeling it.

3. Eat more fruits and veggies – check. I made a conscious effort to have at least 3 servings of fruits and veggies every day.

4. PR the Spartyka Wounded Warrior 5K – check! While my watch measured the course slightly short, my “official” race time was 29:49.4, an over 3 minute PR and my very first sub-30 5K. Ever! I’ll take it!

April was a good month on the healthy living front, now to keep the momentum going!

On to May.

This month hold more health goals versus fitness goals, but they go hand in hand. If you don’t take care of your body, you can’t perform at your peak. Simple as that.

What goals do you have for this month?

  1. I love this! I agree that health goals go hand in hand with fitness goals. I haven’t been sleeping enough the past few days and my run today was sluggish. What app do you use for the goals? I love that you’re going for 500 miles for the year. Great and motivating post!

Thoughts?
