April 2017 | Fitness Goals

You know that old adage, “the older you get, the faster time goes”? No? Did I just pull that out of thin air?

Well, regardless, it is true. Last I looked, it was January and now here we are, almost halfway through April.

I must be getting REALLY old.

As crazy as life is, I did finally manage to get my April goals written down. Let’s recap March, first.

1. Dessert twice a week – bahahaha. Fail.

2. 40 miles – check! Killed that one.

3. Stretches three times a week. Almost. Kinda. I hit twice a week, only thanks to physical therapy. I really must get better at that.

4. Don’t die during my half – check! I even nailed a 37 minute PR. I barely missed my personal goal, but my hip held up and all was good! It was a win any way you look at it.

Injury aside, March was pretty successful.

On to April.

No huge goals, as it is an insanely busy month in our household. A gazillion doctors appointments and 3 days in San Antonio for a specialist appointment. I am excited to see if I can PR my 5K at the end of the month though!
