official start of hurricane season

So, today marks the day…the official start of hurricane season which will run till November 30th. Joy, joy. Last year was a killer season, let’s all pray for a milder one this year.

Here are the official 2006 names…

Alberto, Beryl, Chris, Debby, Ernesto, Florence, Gordon, Helene. Isaac, Joyce, Kirk, Leslie, Michael, Nadeen, Oscar, Patty, Rafael, Sandy, Tony, Valerie and William. The of course, we move to teh Greek alphabet if we run out of names like we did last year.
