April 23 :: Do you see that? For the first time in 8 years (6 officially), I have a normal white blood cell count! One round of chemo and I went from 108.8 to 10.1 two weeks later! We’ve been smiles all day. Dr. T was expecting half, not normal. But then again, nothing with
April 10 :: Day 2 of chemo. This drug kicked my backside yesterday, but today I conquered it!
April 9 :: First day of chemo, after 6 years watch & wait. Today was rough with infusion reactions, but we press on!
April 4 :: Looks much worse than it actually feels. Thankfully.
The last 2 months since finding out I was going to start chemo have been a total blur. Take my normal crazy life, throw in several MORE medical tests and appointments than normal, Jacey’s junior olympics swimming championships in Cali, a visit from the in-laws and my Mom, The Color Run as well as Bryan
March 26 :: My future. I’ve known for 6 years this was coming, but today, it became REAL. Not going to lie, it has been a rough day. Port next week and chemo the following week.
March 19 :: It’s time. Time to kick cancers @ss and regain my life! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit scared though.
March 18 :: I’ll always be a little girl in her heart and that’s okay.
